Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire is a role-playing adventure video game announced in May 14, developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo for Nintendo 3DS gaming console and was released in Japan, North America and Australia on November 21, 2014, while the European release was the following week.
 Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are part of sixth generation of the video game series. The game is an enhanced remake of 2002's Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. Just like Pokemon X and Y, the game contains official translations , unlike those previous games where the game had only a certain language depending on the region they were released in. The game has quite positive reviews from critics and as September 3, 2020, the game has sold over 14.3 million copies worldwide.





Gameplay

As in previous Pokemon video game titles, the player embarks his journey with his partner Pokemon. The player has recently moved from Johto region to Hoenn region. His father is a leader in Petalburg City Gym. The player moves into Littleroot town of Hoenn region and starts his journey by saving Professor Birch, the scientist of Hoenn region, from a wild Pokemon by choosing one of the starter Pokemon which includes Torchic, Mudkip and Treecko. The player chooses one of the Pokemon and battles with the wild Pokemon and defeats the pokemon to save Professor birch.
 The professor offers the Pokemon chose by player to become his first Pokemon of Hoenn region. Then the player and his partner pokemon start their journey to complete his Pokedex and defeat 8 gym leaders to obtain gym badges and enter the Pokemon league. Between their journey, the player encounter the antagonist of  Pokemon Omega Ruby, Team Magma or the antagonist of Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, Team Aqua. 
Both the version have a minor difference in their story where the in Omega Ruby, Team Magma wants to hunt down Groundon to evaporate the oceans in order to expand landmass, whereas in Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, Team Aqua is after Kyogre to flood the land in order to revert the world into prehistoric state. The player has to stop them and save the legendary Pokemons. The game also includes legendary Pokemon Latias and Latios. The player can even ride Latias or Latios and fly to other places. After obtaining all 8 gym badges, the player challenges the Elite Four and defeats him to become the Pokemon Master.
